Tooth Replacement Implants: Technology Choices

Immediate Load Implants: The Basics

Spearheading and participating in the development of products that enabled immediate load implants, Nobel Biocare's patented Immediate Function ^TM product soon established the basis for developing even more advanced technologies that allow our patients more choices of tooth replacement treatments.

Each treatment or patented procedure suggestion listed below outlines requirements and features involved, which gives our patients increased choices in the technology used, treatment time and final restorative product choices.

All On Four

The All-On-Four concept is suited for patients with varying amounts of jawbone integrity across a given arch. It is a fixed prosthesis (bridge) that can offer unsurpassed cosmetic results through the patient's choice of Porcelain versus Ceramic restorations. An Immediate Function (teeth in a day result) procedure.

Employing the use of special tilting posterior implants, bridgework can be fabricated and functioning within just a few hours after surgery. This procedure can be incorporated with Virtual Treatment planning and the use of NobelGuides.

Overdenture

Patients who do not have severe jawbone loss issues or severe resorption can be treated with a more easily affordable tooth replacement alternative that requires short treatment time and employs a removable prosthesis (denture).

The removable denture is secured by at least 2 specialized implants placed within strategic regions of the mandible. Fitted with ball attachments, the overdenture procedure represents a relatively simple procedure at manageable cost that is appealing to many consumers. Commonly known as snap-in dentures.

Zygoma

A specialized permanent implant solution for patients who have undergone severe bone resorption in the upper jaw (maxilla) but who otherwise are symptom free of other oral health factors and have healthy sinus structures.

Healthy bone mass is located and prepared for hybrid Nobel Biocare zygoma implants that overcome the problem or inability to find suitable traditional maxillary implant sites. This unique treatment alternative involves minimal surgery and reduced treatment time. In most instances only one surgical procedure is performed.

Beautiful Teeth Now ^TM

Our implant team (Dr. Sanderson, Dr. Sims, Dr. Gray) offer all of the restorative products and implant restoration elements that are included in the patented Beautiful-Teeth-Now product line. Patients now, more than ever, have choices for a range of crowns, bridges and implants that can be created and become functional quickly and easily.

Procera, a world renowned reatorative product created by Nobel Biocare provides esthetic treatment options that include Zirconium Bridges, Zirconium abutments, Alumina and the newer NobelRondo brand of porcelain ceramic.

Expanding choices for affordable treatment, dental function and practically any degree of cosmetic result imagineable, our patients have access to a range of popular implant and restorative products including Biohorizons, Zimmer, Bicon, IMTEC Mini Implants.

For convenience we offer the full Procera line of porcelain along with Empress I and Empress II, porcelain jacket crowns, feldspathic porcelain and a new thinshell no-prep veneer laminate for patients who want to avoid over preparation of their existing teeth.

Our immediate access to a private dental laboratory assures the availability of computerized CAD/CAM milling and fabrication processes that nearly eliminate the the frustrations and treatment delays that are commonly associated with creating premium restorative products.
